About the Authors
ProtoMS is developed primarily by Christopher Woods and Julien Michel.
ProtoMS evolved from an earlier program (ProtoMC) written by Christopher Woods during his PhD, which was co-funded by the BBSRC and Celltech (now UCB), and was further developed at the University of Southampton by Christopher and Julien while working in the group of Prof. Jonathan Essex (who, incidentally, is an excellent supervisor!)
ProtoMS could not have existed without the funding, time and generous support provided by these people and organisations.
The authors are strongly committed to the ideals of open science and open software, and ProtoMS is released under the Open Source GPL license.
